Phil graduated from Baylor University in 1969 as a distinguished Military Graduate and spent almost 6 years in the United States Air Force as a B-52 pilot during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Baylor Law School in 1977 and has practiced law in Sulphur Springs, Texas since 2002. Phil is a long-time member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Phil has been married to his college sweetheart, Jane, for 50 years. Together, they have served many churches through the years as Ministers of Music, and still serve today in their local church.
Nate attended Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University - School of Law) in Fort Worth and has been practicing law in Texas and Arkansas since 2013. In addition, Nate earned his Master's Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce and his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Nate is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyer's Association and the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Nate and his wife, Cara, are very involved in the lives of their two children. Nate also serves as the minister of music in his local church. Nate is extremely invested in his community and serves a number of ways, including as a Board Member of the 100 Club of East Texas, which provides relief and support to the families of local fallen police officers, as well as Rotary Club.
Lee Warren is a graduate of the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May 2011. After his admission to the Texas Bar, he began doing Real Estate and Oil & Gas transactional work in Tarrant and surrounding counties. In 2015, he moved to Sulphur Springs and began handling primarily criminal cases. Lee joined Smith & Smith in 2018 and is a member of the Texas Bar College.
After graduating from Texas A&M University-Commerce with his Bachelor of Business Administration in 2015, Matthew attended the newly formed University of North Texas School of Law. After he graduated in January 2019 he immediately sat for and passed the Texas State Bar and went on to join the State Bar College. Matthew is a member of the American Bar Association.
